I hope everyone had a blessed day. It's hard to believe that I'm sitting here in Alabama with snow all over the ground -- a truly White Christmas. It snowed all day long!! Hopefully all gifters got their horses transferred (except me ), and giftees have found a young colt/filly in their stables. I owe Dixie a BIG appology because when I transferred his gift on the 16th, it just didn't happen. I'm sure it was the site and not me. Hopefully everyone else did a better job than I did. As for the contest, it will start next week and end on June 25th. Starting next week, you can run your horse where and when you want to. Points are awarded as follows: Stakes - 10/6/3. Allowance and MSW - 7/4/2, Claimer and Starter Alw - 4/2/1. Standings will be posted each Saturday. Prizes will be awarded to the winning trainer AND the breeder of the horse. GOOD LUCK TO ALL!!! 2009 RULES 2009 Christmas Horse Contest Rules Well, if it's Christmas Time, then it must be just about time for the 2009 Christmas Horse Contest. Thanks to Kendra's Secret Santa event for making this contest possible. Here's how it goes...... 1. You will need to enter your Secret Santa horse and fork over 50 credits by 10:00 pm (est), Tuesday, December 30. The first race date in the contest will be January 3. 2. The trainer and breeder of the horse that earns the most points by the end of race July 4, will split the credits. If the breeder does not enter the contest, half of the credits will be awarded to the one who did enter with the other half being split between the 2nd place trainer and breeder. 3. The only races that will count are Saturday races… no RODOTS. 4. There is no limit as to the number of races in which you enter your horse, just a time limit…. January 3 – July 4th. 5. Points will be awarded as follows: Stakes – 10 win, 6 place 3 show All allowances, MSW’s – 7/4/2 All claimers or starter allowances – 4/2/1 Tie breaker would be based on money won. 6. If you are planning on entering your Christmas Horse, please sign up in this thread. I will need to know the name of the horse, the stable, and the breeder.
