CEREBRAL PALSY EQUINICS FOR 3 YEAR OLD FILLIES, 9 FURLONGS ON THE TURF

United Cerebral Palsy offers a wide range of services to people with
disabilities.

Apologia - I haven't been able to spend as much time on-line as I've
needed to. My house is running 100 to 105 degrees .inside. which has my
computer overheating, even with an extra, private fan on it. I wrote the
rough draft by .hand., with pen and multiple sheets of paper. Can you
imagine?

Several of these fillies have raced against each other before. In the
recent Bluto Cup (G2), Paula Creamer was fourth, Briseida seventh and
Enter Shikari eleventh. Four entrants met in the G1 How are you
Gentlemen, with Miesque's Gold second, Polyamorous third, Enter Shikari
fourth, and Sell and Buy sixth. Polyamorous was third in the G1 Sydney
Oaks while Miesque's Gold was far back in eighth. Alayaya won the G1
Cremation, soundly defeating Miesque's Gold in seventh. The G2 Full Moon
had two of today's contestants, winner Enter Shikari and show horse
Pazjazz Player. The G1 Adelaide Oaks included Sisson's Light in seventh
and Sell and Buy in eleventh. Sake appeared in two G3 Filly Turf
Bonanzas, finishing first and fourth. Alayaya has a second in a race by
that name, while Enter Shikari won another.

In the All Star Honor last year, Sell and Buy won with Briseida
finishing sixth.

In stakes points, Miesque's Gold has almost three times as many as
second place Alayaya, as well as more then double the earnings per race.

Thirteen of the jockeys have in-the-money figures this year of 55% to
65%, while the best of the other five is 37%.

By post position:

1) BINGLEY 7 - 3-3-1

Bingley's best speed figure is within reach of the best figures in the
field at distances slightly longer than this race. She has just one
stakes start, and ungraded third but has been on the board in all seven
starts.

2) MOMENTS OF GOLD 9 - 6-1-0

Moments of Gold has one of the best speed figures in this race, and did
so in her last race which was at eight furlongs. In her only two stakes
starts, she has a win and a G2 second. In seven turf starts, she has six
wins and a second.

3) SAKE 13 - 6-1-2

Sake has the highest speed point figure in the fied, but by only one
point and at a significantly greater distance - 12 furlongs. However,
she has won a 9 1/2 furlong stakes race and her worst finish this year
in a stakes was by only 1 1/2 lengths. She has won her last two stakes
races.

4) SISSON'S LIGHT 15 - 4-6-2

Sisson's Light's best speed figure came at 12 furlongs, so this race
could be somewhat short for her. She has a first and two seconds in
ungraded stakes. Unfortunately, her jockey has the next-to-poorest
in-the-money figures in this race.

5) PAZJAZZ PRAYER 11 - 3-3-4

Pazjazz Prayer has a good speed point figure at this distance and has
been in the money in four straight stakes races. Her single statistical
negative is average earnings per race which is probably explained by her
single graded race.

6) GOING BUSH 8 - 1-1-4

Her best speed rating is the lowest - by a single point - in this field
at a distance somewhat shorter than this race. While a record of six
on-the-board finishes is eight starts is far better than average, this
will be her first non-maiden start.

7) PAULA CREAMER 13 - 6-3-1

Along with Enter Shikari, Paula Creamer has the best speed rating at
this distance and her last three races have been 100-plus. She's run in
five stakes, winning a G2 and an ungraded stakes with a third in a G3.

8) SMOOZE 14 - 5-1-3

Smooze has several statistical negatives. Her best speed figure is at
this distance though well below average for this field. While she has
won two stakes races, neither was graded and one was last year.

9) POLYAMOROUS 14 - 5-1-3

Though Polyamorous has won three ungraded stakes. Her best graded
efforts are two thirds and she hasn't quite broken 100 speed points. Her
last stakes race was very disappointing and she has the least effective
jockey in the race.

10) BRISEIDA 11 - 6-1-0

Briseida's best speed figure is within reach of the best in this race
and was at just 1/2 furlong less. She has won three of 7 stakes starts
including a G2. On the negative side, she has one of the lesser jockeys.

11) MIESQUE'S GOLD 13 - 4-4-2

Miesque's Gold is far ahead of this field in stakes points and earnings
per race. However, she has been unplaced in her last three stakes races,
the first of which was at 12 furlongs which is undoubtedly too long for
her. Her last two races, at better distances, have shown some
improvement. She has had speed ratings of 100 or better at 8 and 8 1/2
furlongs, a bit shorter than this race.

12) SOFT AS STEEL 9 - 3-1-2

Soft as Steel's best recommendation is her 66.7% in the money record. In
addition, her last three races - including her best time - have been on
the dirt and she has one of the least impressive jockeys in the race.

13) ALAYAYA 10 - 5-2-0

Alayaya has a number of positives in this race. Her best speed figure is
only ones point less than the very best (108, 8 furlongs, turf), though
at a much shorter distance which is closer to today's distance. She's
co-favorite with Sake (109, 12 furlongs, turf). She is number two behind
Miesque's Gold in stakes points and average earnings per race.

14) I'M OVER THE MOON 9 - 3-1-1

Her only stakes race was last year and she finished third. She does have
one of the better jockeys and the distance is only 1/2 furlong more than
her best speed rating.

15) SELL AND BUY 13 - 4-3-1

Sell and Buy has had a good speed rating at this distance. She has two
ungraded stakes wins at 2 as well as two seconds this year.

16) ENTER SHIKARI 11 - 7-2-1

Enter Shikari's last stakes race was far inferior to her others. She and
Paula Creamer share the best speed figure for this distance. Only
Miesque's Gold (103), Sake (109), and Alayaya (108) have better figures,
but not at this distance. She has recently won a G2 and a G3, with a
close-up 4th in her only G1 race - Miesque's Gold and Polyamorous
finished 3/4 and 1/2 length, respectively, ahead of her.

17) VILLA DE LA ROSA 9 - 3-5-0

Villa de la Rosa has won or placed in 8 of 9 starts, including a stakes
placement. Her best time, in her last race, is at 10 furlongs, just one
furlong longer than this race.

18) OIL IS EVERYWHERE 6 - 2-1-2

Oil is Everywhere has no stakes starts but has been on the board in 5 of
6 starts. She has one of the better jockeys, though her only turf race
was shorter than this. She has been somewhat slower on dirt which could
be reflected in a much faster second turf race. She has less starts than
any filly in the race.
