ISTHATGOOD (SANDY) has taken over the CHILCOAT coordination of the exchange of Christmas Gifts. It is conducted on the Pastures' Posting Board. 2011 Posts: EGAD!!! SECRET SANTA time!! It is only a little over a month until Christmas so you have plenty of time. I just wanted to make you aware of the schedule. 1) Sometime between now and November 26th let me know if you are going to participate and what Pastures stable you want your gift horse delivered to. To help Santa with the breeding, you may suggest a sire (or some sires) you would like. Just try not to list one that costs a gazillion points or credits. This is strictly optional. Just reply in this thread. 2) On Sunday, December 4h, I will let you know whose name you have and which stable to deliver the gift horse to by way of Pastures “messages”. 3) Sometime between now and December 18th, breed a 2yo for whoever’s name you draw. If you want, feel free to wait until you know who you are breeding the horse for. Please breed a horse that you might be happy to receive. You may use either BP’s or credits. 4) Transfer your gift horse between December 18th and the 21nd at 6pm EST. THIS PART IS VERY IMPORTANT. That way everyone will find a brand new colt or filly in their stable on Christmas Day! 5) THEN….Anytime after Christmas and BEFORE New Year’s Day, let me know if you plan on entering the Christmas Horse Contest. If you do, it will be optional this year as to whether or not you chip in 50 credits. It helps but will not be required. 6) The contest will begin on January 7and end on June 30th. I will post the complete rules for the contest at a later date. The will change very little, if at all from previous years. Please consider entering. As far as I know, everyone who participates in Secret Santa and the contest enjoys it.
